  At this time of year the golf course is closed but the ski hill is open at the same location

  For visitors, this would be an excellent course to put in a four course rota for Cape Breton Golf.

  Ive played many courses with NS and Florida, and I must say that the Lakes is one of my favourite. The staff are friendly but most off all the course is well maintained and challenging enough to test your game. You are rewarded for great ball placement. I would recommend this course for anyone who is serious about golf and enjoys a well build course. Last thing to note, the views are among the best. See for your self.

  A phenomenal golf course. Such a surprise. Even though we had foggy drizzle we were delighted. The varying contours and elevations, the tightly integrated holes, carpetlike fairways, and superb tee boxes. I won't miss this course on my next visit to Cape Breton. A really challenging and exciting course.
